FRISCO — The Dallas Cowboys announced their training camp dates and preseason schedule on Monday.
The Cowboys will fly out to Oxnard, California for training camp on July 22 as the team charter arrives at Pt. Mugu, where the Cowboys will have an autograph signing at the hangar. Camp will then open with a press conference on July 23.
The first practice of training camp is July 24 and will halt on Aug. 2 as the team travels to Canton, Ohio to play in the Pro Football Hall of Fame Game against the Arizona Cardinals on Aug. 3. The club will stay through the weekend as owner, president, and general manager Jerry Jones will be enshrined on Aug. 5.
Dallas will resume training camp in Oxnard on Aug. 7 and stay through Aug. 18. During this time, the Cowboys will have a preseason game against the Rams at Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum.
The Cowboys will then play a preseason game against the Indianapolis Colts sometime on either Aug. 19 or 20 at AT&T Stadium and then resume one more week of training camp at The Star in Frisco from Aug. 21-29.
The exact dates and times for the Cowboys’ preseason opponents will not be finalized until later this month. For now, here is the tentative Dallas preseason schedule with all times Central:
Pro Football Hall of Fame Game, Aug. 3 at 7:00 p.m. – Dallas versus Arizona
Week 1, Aug. 11-13 – Dallas at L.A. Rams
Week 2, Aug. 19-20 – Dallas versus Indianapolis
Week 3, Aug. 25-27 – Dallas versus Oakland
Week 4, Aug. 31 – Dallas at Houston
