ARLINGTON, Texas — Former U.S. President George W. Bush photobombed Fox Sports Southwest Texas Rangers reporter Emily Jones Wednesday during the Rangers’ 9-3 win over the Philadelphia Phillies at Globe Life Park in Arlington.
The 43rd president walked behind McCoy during a live shot and yelled, “Hey!”

After the photobomb, McCoy’s coworkers pointed out what had happened, which McCoy didn’t hear.
The photobomb became an online sensation almost immediately.

“I’ve been photobombed before, but he was the President, so he’s kind of a big deal,” McCoy told TIME magazine.
McCoy did go over to the president and ask if he photobombed her, and he admitted to it.
“It’s a snapshot that epitomizes where he’s at right now,” McCoy said.
Bush was once a manager partner for the Rangers from 1989-98. His presidential library on the campus of SMU also has an exhibit of the presidents and baseball.
