The Texas Rangers crushed 4 home-runs and scored more than 10 runs in back to back games in their 10-4 win over the Seattle Mariners (33-37) Saturday night. The win was witnessed by 35,928 in attendance at Globe Life Park in Arlington, Texas.
Two of the Rangers home runs were belted by Mike Napoli. Rougned Odor and Shin-Soo Choo each smashed one home run a piece.
Texas starter Martin Perez (3-6, 4.72 ERA) earned the Rangers win. Perez tossed 5.1 innings giving up 4 runs before exiting the game with a 5-4 lead.
Texas has exploded at the plate since stars Napoli and Carlos Gomez returned from the disabled list.
Is there a correlation with the facts that the Rangers have scored more than 10 runs in two games after their reinforcements came back from the disabled list?
“I think so, Jeff Banister”, Texas Rangers manager said. “Mike Napoli had a huge day today and he looked like the Mike Napoli we all know,” Jeff Banister, Texas Rangers manager said.
Carlos Gomez said that the Rangers have a lot of confidence right now.
“For the first time all season for two days straight, we have the right guy that supposed to be there, there every day,” Gomez said. “We believe this is one of the best line ups in the league and we are going to come after everybody.”
Texas Rangers win over Mariners is their second straight victory

The Texas Rangers (34-33) have now won 8-out-their-last-10 games and are positioned just 1 ½ games out of the second wild card playoff spot in the American league playoff race.
