Collier carried a team-high 13 yards for 148 yards. The senior, who also plays cornerback, intercepted a Lakeside (2-4, 1-2) pass and returned it 101 yards for a touchdown in the third quarter.
Collier’s rushing yards were only bested by sophomore Torie Blair, who had eight carries for 172 yards and two touchdowns. Blair also caught a pass for 22 yards. Arkansas High (5-1, 3-0) produced 313 rushing yards on 29 carries, surpassing the Rams, who had 129 rushing yards on 40 attempts.
Junior quarterback Sean Foreback completed 2-of-6 on the evening for 36 yards. Receiver DeJordan Mask caught a pass for 14 yards.
Arkansas High out-gained Lakeside 349 to 278. Lakeside had 13 first downs to Arkansas High’s 10, and the Rams had fewer penalties with four for 20 yards and the Hogs producing 10 for 76 yards.
Lakeside took an early lead with running back Issac Echols scoring an 8-yard touchdown to give the Rams a 7-0 lead. Tyrie Black blocked a punt and Shamon Smith returned it 15 yards for a touchdown to tie the game with 4:38 in the first quarter. Arkansas High never looked back, scoring 48 unanswered points.
The Razorbacks stay in Texarkana next week to host Little Rock McClellan. Lakeside goes on the road to take on the Hope Bobcats.
