Little Rock Christian

TEXARKANA — Senior Cameron Collier scored all of the Arkansas High Razorbacks‘ touchdowns as they downed the Little Rock McClellan Crimson Lions 21-15 Friday night at Razorback Stadium.

Collier scored two rushing touchdowns as part of a 20-carry performance for 144 yards. He also recovered a fumble and returned it 40 yards for a touchdown midway through the fourth quarter to give the Razorbacks a 21-15 lead.

After a halfback pass from McClellan fell incomplete at the Arkansas 23-yard line and they turned the ball over on downs, Collier and the Razorbacks faced a key third-and-1 late in the fourth. The senior running back gained four yards on the carry to move the chains and ice the game.

Hogs junior quarterback Sean Foreback completed 2-of-12 for 15 yards.

The Hogs turned the Lions over twice with two fumbles. The Razorbacks lost one fumble among their lone loose ball. Arkansas High had six first downs to the Lions’ 17, and McClellan produced 303 yards of total offense with 274 of it coming on the ground with 59 carries. Running back Derrick Lloyd had 24 carries for 90 yards and a touchdown.

Arkansas High had to deal with penalties on the evening with six for 29 yards, but the Lions lost the most penalty yardage with four for 43.

The Razorbacks stay at home next week as they host the Hot Springs Trojans for homecoming at Razorback Stadium.
