EL DORADO — Senior quarterback Darius Holly threw for two touchdowns and rushed for another as the El Dorado Wildcats shutout the Arkansas High Razorbacks 21-0 Friday.
The loss did not impact the 6A Conference playoff implications for the Razorbacks (5-5, 3-4) nor for the Wildcats (9-1, 6-1). Due to a Marion victory over Jonesboro on Thursday, Arkansas High is slated to travel to Crittenden County for the second straight year. El Dorado will remain the second seed out of the west due to the dominance of top dog Greenwood.
Holly completed 9-of-11 for 122 yards along with rushing nine times for 43 yards. His Hogs counterpart, sophomore Sean Foreback, completed 13-of-28 for 121 yards.
The Hogs running game did not feature junior running back Jordan Hall taking a single carry. Instead, Tyrie Black carried seven times for a team-high 30 yards. Hall did catch three passes for five yards.
Dynamic junior wideouts DeJordan Mask and Irijah Price combined for five catches for 56 yards. Junior receiver Drake Browning caught four passes for 30 yards.
Arkansas High travels to Marion next Friday. Michael DelGiorno and Greg Hogan will have the call on Fox Sports Radio 1400 AM with kickoff at 7:00 p.m. and pregame at 6:00 p.m. Catch the game on your mobile device on the Freed AM Sports app.
