Little Rock Christian knocks Arkansas High out 48-24

TEXARKANA — Quarterback Justice Hill threw for four touchdowns and rushed for three others as the Little Rock Christian Warriors bounced Arkansas High out of the 5A Playoffs 48-24 Friday night.

Hill completed 27 of 35 for 408 yards. He also rushed for 69 yards on 11 carries as the Warriors out-gained the Hogs 540 to 264 yards total offense.

Senior running back Cameron Collier rushed 30 times for Arkansas High for 151 yards and two touchdowns. Junior quarterback Sean Foreback completed nine passes on 23 attempts for 142 yards and a touchdown, a 27-yard pass caught by senior receiver Dejordan Mask, his lone reception on the evening.

Though Arkansas High struck first with a Collier touchdown run to take a 7-0 lead, and even led 17-14 at halftime, the Warriors scored 21 unanswered points in the third quarter. The Hogs responded with another Collier touchdown run on the final play of the the third quarter, but the lead edged on the insurmountable with Little Rock Christian ahead 35-24 to start the final quarter.

The Razorbacks’ season ends with a 10-2 overall record and a 7-0 conference record in the 5A South. Little Rock Christian advances to the semifinals to face Morrilton, who beat Blytheville 45-20.
