Senior fullback TJ Cole ran for 131 yards, and two touchdowns and the Pleasant Grove Hawk defense turned in a dominate performance beating Paris 45-13 tonight at Hawk Stadium.

Josh Roberts added 66 yards and two touchdowns for the Hawks, who improved to 2-0 on the season.

Austin Toler scores 2 touchdowns for Hawks

304 pound defensive lineman Austin Toler returned a fumbled lateral 35 yards for a touchdown that gave the Hawks a 14-7 first quarter lead. In the 4th quarter Toler was put into the game as an extra tight end and caught a 33 yard touchdown pass from QB Ben Harmon.

PG took a 28-7 lead into the locker room at halftime. The Hawks increased their lead to 31-7 when Dillon Williams nailed a 36 yard FG. Paris cut the lead to 31-13 13 seconds later when Jaylon Henderson returned the ensuing kickoff 96 yards for a touchdown.

The Hawks, who have a bye next week held Paris RB Donovan Williams to 56 yards on 18 carries. Last week Williams gained 224 yards in the Wildcats 320 win over Terrell.
