On Wednesday night, the Texas Department of Transportation (TXDOT) crews will be replacing an overhead sign bridge on Eastbound I-30 just east of Richmond Road. This will require part of the roadway to be closed, as well as the onramp from Northbound I-369 to Eastbound I-30.
A single lane of Eastbound I-30 will be closed beginning around 8:30 and then both eastbound lanes and the connector ramp from I-369 will be closed around 10 p.m.
Traffic on Eastbound I-30 and Northbound I-369 will be detoured onto the frontage roads near Richmond Road and will be access I-30 again near Summerhill Road.
The original sign bridge was knocked down several months ago by a tractor-trailer that ran off the road.
