Marshals come back and beat Texarkana Twins in Plano Saturday

The Texarkana Twins blew a 6-2 lead in Plano, Texas Saturday and the Texas Marshals (5-11) downed the Twins 10-6 in Texas Collegiate league baseball.

Twins pitcher Colin Cameron was pitching a masterpiece going into the 7th inning, striking out 11 after 6 innings and holding a 6-2 lead. However, the Marshals bats came alive and they touched Cameron for 5 runs in the 7th inning, lifting Texas to the comeback win.

Jaxxon Grisham smashed three hits and had 4 RBi’s for Texarkana (7-9) while teammate Troy Black pitched in with an RBI single.

Twins return to Texarkana for home game Tuesday

The Texarkana Twins are off on Sunday and Monday; they return to action at home in Spring Lake Park at George Dobson Field Tuesday against Brazos Valley.
