TEXARKANA, TX- The 19th Annual Bramlett Beans & Cornbread luncheon will be held on Thursday, December 7, 2017, from 11:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. at the Southwest Community Center. All proceeds from the event will benefit the Christmas Basket program, a volunteer effort by the Cities of Texarkana, Texas and Texarkana, Arkansas and Texarkana Water Utilities that provides holiday food for families in need who reside in the Texarkana area.
Lunch includes beans and cornbread, sponsored by Big Jake’s BBQ and Texarkana Independent School District, sodas sponsored by Coca Cola and coffee and dessert sponsored by Starbucks.
Bramlett Beans and Cornbread is only $5
The cost of lunch is $5 per person or six non-perishable food items.
A silent auction will be held and proceeds will be donated to Empty Bowls Project, an international programdedicated to fighting hunger.The auction will feature handmade and painted bowls created by Texas High School art students.
