Award Presented by Governor
Recently TAPD was accredited by the Arkansas Association of Chief’s Police. This award was presented to TAPD by the Governor during the Chief’s Convention in Rogers in November of 2018. These standards were carefully developed by Arkansas Law Enforcement Professionals to assist agencies in the efficient delivery of police service and the protection of the citizens that we serve.
Receiving the accreditation gives TAPD recognition throughout our state, as well as to the citizens that we serve, our department is operating in a manner that reflects the current best practices for the Law Enforcement Profession. There are only 14 accredited agencies in the State of Arkansas.
