Jackie Kirkland the owner of J.A. Kirkland Construction will be awarded the Boy Scouts Caddo Area Council’s Silver Beaver Award. Mike Asher is also a winner of the Silver Beaver Award.
Each year the Caddo Area Council recognizes registered adult volunteers who have demonstrated exceptional character and who have provided distinguished service to our local Scouting Movement.
Jackie Kirkland works hard and volunteers in his spare time
Jackie Kirkland, the owner of J.A. Kirkland Construction in Texarkana is a hard worker and generous volunteer. When Jackie is not leading scouts, he’s coaching baseball. It’s just the kind of guy Jackie is.
According to the Caddo Area Council, a committee of volunteers reviews and makes their selection from the nominations that have been submitted.
The Silver Beaver Awards will be handed out at the annual recognition banquet on Friday, February 8, 2019. They will also honor our 2018 class of Eagle Scouts. The Banquet will also feature a time for the Youth Cabinet to present the Eagle Project of the Year.
Tickets for the Caddo Area Council are available at the Scout Service Center in Texarkana.
