HOT SPRINGS, Ark. (AP) — A statue of notorious gangster Al Capone was stolen — and because of that, it was, well, hot. But the people who stole it dropped it like it was hot — and the statue was damaged as a result.
Authorities in Hot Springs, Arkansas say two men snatched a likeness of Capone from its perch outside the Ohio Club in Hot Springs, Arkansas on Saturday.
They didn’t get far before dropping it, causing damage to the statue’s fedora, arm and leg.
