New golf coach to take the reins at Pleasant Grove.
The new golf coach at Pleasant Grove will be Ryan Huntze.
Huntze received his bachelor’s degree from Texas A&M Texarkana. He worked at Texarkana Country Club for two years and has been the Golf Shop Manager at Northridge Country Club for a year and a half. He is currently in the process of becoming PGA certified.
Huntze takes over for Rick Rogers who is officially retiring after many years of teaching golf to boys and girls across the area. The Hawks golf teams have made it to state the past three years under the direction of Rogers.
Fox Sports Texarkana would like to say Thank You and Congratulations to Coach Rick Rogers and enjoy your retirement. We also welcome Coach Ryan Huntze and wish him the best of luck at Pleasant Grove.
