Dallas Cowboys executive vice president and chief sales and marketing officer Jerry Jones Jr. spent time with “The Leadoff Man” ahead of his induction into the Arkansas Sports Hall of Fame Friday.
Jones talked about how going to Little Rock Catholic High helped prepare him for the day-to-day operations of working for his father and the Cowboys. Also, Jones shared a funny story about how he tried to get out of detention to see Super Bowl XIX between the San Francisco 49ers, led by quarterback Joe Montana, and Dan Marino’s Miami Dolphins.
With Jones’ induction, all three of Jerry Jones Sr.’s children have been inducted into the Arkansas Sports Hall of Fame, and Fox Sports Radio 1400 AM was there for two out of three of them.
