You can learn how to foster a child or volunteer to assist abused children at an informational meeting tonight.
According to the Texarkana Arkansas Police, the meeting will be held at the Spring Lake Park Baptist Church at 6:30. At the meeting you will receive all of the information you need to become a foster parent. Or how to volunteer for Arkansas and Texas residents. All you have to is show up.
The police department says they have been inundated with calls requesting information on how to foster a child or volunteer to assist abused children. The department says there are local resources that do an amazing job of working to protect children and ensure they have a loving and safe home.
