Phone lines are down at the Texarkana Texas Police Department for the second day in a row.
The police department put out the following statement on their Facebook page concerning their phone lines being down:
“We thought that everything was fixed, but our office phones are not working again today. We can not call out or receive calls on any of our phone lines right now.
911 has not been effected at all. Thankfully, it’s working fine.
If you’ve tried to call our main number 903-798-3116 in the last 24 hours, you’ve probably gotten a busy signal. That’s what the deal is. Windstream is working hard to figure out what the problem is and get it fixed as soon as possible.
Please be patient with us. If you’ve tried to call to get the answer to a question or tell us about a concern, we are sorry that you’ve most likely not been able to get through.”
