OKLAHOMA CITY  –  A vintage performance from Jared Janczak and late-inning fireworks helped TCU force a decisive game with a 13-6 victory over No. 11 Oklahoma State Saturday at the Phillips 66 Big 12 Championships on Saturday. Josh Watson and Zach Humphreys each tallied four hits in the game.

Jared Janczak was brilliant over the course of six innings on the mound. He fanned the first eight batters he faced and finished with 12 while allowing just two runs on four hits and two walks.

TCU raced out to a 3-0 lead after the first. Josh Watson got the ball rolling with a base hit and scored on a Johnny Rizer double. With two on and two out, Zach Humphreys doubled to drive in two more.

The Horned Frogs tacked on a run in the third on an RBI-single from Humphreys. A two-run home run off the bat from Watson pushed the TCU lead to six, 6-0.

Oklahoma State started to climb back into the game in the fourth on a solo home run from Colin Simpson. Another run in the sixth, a one-out walk scored on a two-out base hit to make it a 6-2 ballgame. A Cade Cabbiness grand slam in the seventh knotted the game at six.

TCU responded in a big way with a five-run eighth. Hunter Wolfe singled and moved to third on a two-base error in left. Watson drove a single through the drawn-in infield to put the Frogs back on top. Henry hit a two-run doubled and scored on a Conner Shepherd base hit for a 10-6 advantage. A two-out passed ball increased the lead to five, 11-6.

The Frogs added a pair of runs on Humphreys second double of the game in the ninth to account for the final score.

Haylen Green (5-1) picked up the win, tossing three scoreless innings. He allowed just two hits and struck out five.

With the win, TCU improves to 32-25. The Horned Frogs will face Oklahoma State with a trip to the Championship game on the line. That game will be played 30-40 minutes after the conclusion of Texas Tech-West Virginia.
