Texarkana, USA – June 8, 2019 – The Twins lose tonight to the Acadiana Cane Cutters 10-9 in a close game that came down to the wire.
Even though the Twins lost the game the offense was able to produce in a big way tonight. They scored nine runs but it just was not enough. Every single Twins batter tonight was able to reach base at least once, and eight of them reaching twice. Braydon Creader and Colten Davis were both good in their relief appearances.
Twins hit well but still fall to Cane Cutters
Taylor Smith was 2-4 with 2 RBIs and a HBP. Reese Durand was 2-5 and had a triple on the night. They were unable to bring him in unfortunately, and that was the story of the night again for the Twins. They left double digit guys on base tonight which has continued to plague this team.
The Twins look to get revenge on the Acadiana Cane Cutters tomorrow night at George Dobson Field. That will be their eighth and final game before they get two days off.
