TEXARKANA, TEXAS – The Texarkana Texas Police Department said that they’re investigating an apparant double homicide in the 200 block of Connella Street. Police said the alleged double murder occurred late Sunday evening.
TTPD said that officers were dispatched to a report of a shooting at the residence at 10:43 p.m. on Sunday. Police said when they arrived at the scene they found a man and woman deceased inside the house. Both were suffering from gunshot wounds. Detectives and crime scene technicians were on the scene late last night investigating and working on a search warrant for the house.
Names of victims have not been released
Names of the victims are being withheld at this time but are expected to be released later this morning. It is very early in the investigation, and further details are not currently available, police said. No arrests have been made.
