“We are proud of the District’s STAAR test results, however, this is just one snapshot of the great education our students receive in the Pleasant Grove ISD,” stated
Superintendent Chad Pirtle. “In addition to the ratings, I am even more proud of the
well-rounded education our students receive and the success our students and staff
experience on a daily basis. We are excited about the opportunity to continue to grow
our District academically and in our extracurricular activities.”
Pleasant Grove ISD received an A last year in TEA’s first year to release Accountability
Ratings. Only one in four of Texas districts and charters earned an A Rating this year.
