De Kalb traveled to Smith-Wall Stadium and took it to the Bulldogs of Queen City 38-0. With a relentless ground attack, the Bears basically did what wanted, when they wanted.
With a couple of rushing touchdowns, QB Dooley had another stellar performance under center for the Bears. The De Kalb defense played incredible as they pitched a complete game shutout. Ladarious Stephens had a 45 yard scoop and score to put the final leash on the Bulldogs.
De Kalb, to the surprise of many, start this 2019 campaign with an unblemished record of 5-0 heading into the BYE Next opponent for the Bears is Waskom while Queen City has the off week and then faces Elysian Fields on Oct. 11.
