TEXARKANA, Texas – Three Texas High School Orchestra students have earned placement in the Texas Music Educators Association All-Region Orchestra during the recent competition.
Helen Chen and Teagan Jones (Freshmen) earned their placement on violin while Nicolai De Guzman (Junior) made his placement on viola.
DeGuzman’s audition placed him as Top Violinist in the combined regional competition giving him the honor of being named Principal for his section.
These students will participate in an All-Region concert to be held at Longview High School on December 7.
