TEXARKANA — The Texarkana Texas Police Department, TTPD, is still investigating a shooting the took place Tuesday evening in the 1700 block of South Robison Road.
According to police, a warrant for aggravated assault with a deadly weapon has been issued for 25-year-old Dominique Dejohn Robertson.
Police say a shooting occurred sometime before 7:00 p.m. near the 1700 block of South Robison Road. According to TTPD via the victim, while on the way to meet an unknown women in the Liberty Eylau area, a gold Mercury pulled beside the victim’s vehicle and the occupants shot several times, according to police.
After the 24-year-old victim realized he had been shot, the victim drove to a residence in the 1400 block of Milam Street, according to police, where friends took the victim to Wadley Hospital, where he was treated for a gunshot wound to the back and later released that night.
According to police via the victim, Robertson was identified as one of the people that had shot him from the other vehicle. TTPD detectives Cliff Harris and Cody Harris were able to obtain the warrant for aggravated assault late Tuesday night.
