The Texarkana, Texas Police said a local church pastor in Texarkana is in jail who was wanted for Continuous Sexual Abuse of a Young Child.
Logan Wesley III turned him self in yesterday after the Texarkana police posted his wanted picture on social media Tuesday. Police said Wesley had said that he has no plans on turning himself in. However, the police Facebook page announced that he did turn himself in around 5:30 p.m. Tuesday.
Police said the sexual abuse began when the girl was 12
During the course of the investigation, police said that their detective, Tabitha Smith believed that the sexual abuse started when the girl was only 12 years old. Police said the alleged abuse continued on a regular basis for several years.
Since these allegations came to light earlier this month, police said they have received word that others are now ready to come forward with their own stories about how they were also molested by Wesley.
TTPD said Detective Smith believes that there may be even more victims out there that we don’t even know about yet.
