Texas High played possibly its best basketball of the season in the first quarter of Tuesday’s game against Lancaster at Tiger Center, but the Lady Tigers couldn’t keep the pace the rest of the way.

Lancaster outscored THS in each of the last three quarters, the visitors posting a 65-57 victory.

The Tigers charged out of the gate early, leading by as many as 13 points before settling for a 27-15 edge at the first break. Keturah Johnson scored 10 of her total 11 points in the period.
