The NFL announced their Pro Bowl rosters on Tuesday night, and the Dallas Cowboys had four players who made the NFC team, including running back Ezekiel Elliott.
Running back Ezekiel Elliott is one of three running backs to represent the NFC. The other two are Carolina Panthers running back Christian McCaffrey and Minnesota Vikings running back Dalvin Cook. For Elliott, it is his third career selection.
The Cowboys offensive line was well represented with left tackle Tyron Smith, center Travis Frederick, and right guard Zack Martin making the Pro Bowl. For Smith, it was his seventh straight Pro Bowl. For Frederick, it was his fifth Pro Bowl and his first since suffering Guillain-Barre Syndrome that prevented him from playing the entire 2018 season. For Martin, it is his sixth consecutive Pro Bowl. Ever since joining the league as a 2014 first-round pick from Notre Dame, Martin has always been a Pro Bowl selection.
Quarterback Dak Prescott did not make the Pro Bowl. Seattle Seahawks QB Russell Wilson, Green Bay Packers QB Aaron Rodgers, and New Orleans Saints QB Drew Brees were counted ahead of Prescott.
There were no Cowboys defenders who made the Pro Bowl.
The Pro Bowl will be played Sunday, Jan. 26, 2020, at Camping World Stadium in Orlando, Fla., just one week before Super Bowl LIV in Miami Gardens, Fla.
