The Pleasant Grove Lady Hawks basketball team won both of their games at the Hallsville Holiday Classic Friday.
PG’s girls coached by Marsha Cowling held on to beat the Mineola Lady Yellow Jackets 58-53. The Lady Hawks blew out the Pine Tree Lady Pirates 50-20.
In the Pleasant Grove win vs Mineola, the Lady Hawks were led by Asia Lloyd and Miaya Ware. They each scored 12 points.Shanequa Henry scored 11 and Ashanti Levingston poured in ten.
Block and Henry lead the Lady Hawks against Pine Tree
Block and Henry were the leading scorers for the Lady Hawks in the Pirates win. They each scored 13 points. Lloyd scored 11 points.
Pleasant Grove has two games today at the Hallsville Holiday Classic. the Lady Hawks tip-off against Longview at 9 a.m. They will play Marshall at Noon.
