The Pleasant Grove Lady Hawks girls varsity basketball team started off the new year the same way the ended the old year. The Pleasant Grove Lady Hawks won.
Playing at home in the Hawks gym Friday, the Lady Hawks clipped the wings of the Lindale Lady Eagles, winning 67-42 in front of a sparse crowd.

Lloyd and Block led Lady Hawks
The Lady Hawks (16-3) were led by Asia Lloyd and Briena Block and Asia Lloyd who each scored 16 points. Miaya Ware chipped in with 12 points.
The Pleasant Grove Lady Hawks have one more ore-district game before opening up district play next Friday. They play at Winnsboro Tuesday ngith at 6:30 p.m. and host North Lamar Friday January 10th at home in Hawk gym in their first district game vs. North Lamar.
