Texarkana Texas Police looking for man wanted for theft of property

Christopher “Redwood” Haggard has been charged with Theft of Property, the Texarkana, Texas Police said. he was featured on their ” Felony Friday” feature 0n the TTPD Facebook Page.

“You might remember that we told you about a trailer several weeks ago that was stolen from a front yard on Holly Lane one Sunday morning while the owner was at church,” The Texarkana, Texas Police said on their Facebook Post.

At first, police said that they did not have much to go on

Police allege that the trailer had a lot of equipment from his concession stand business inside. Like a lot of these cases, there wasn’t much to go on at first, police said.
The Texarkana Police said Detective Warren Smith was determined and eventually able to track down the truck that was in surveillance videos from nearby businesses pulling the trailer away and figured out that Haggard was the guy who allegedly stole it.

Police said that he believes that Haggard took it to the DFW area and got rid of it there, but, so far, none of the stuff in it or the trailer itself has been recovered.  The Police said that they’re  still hopeful that we will be able to do that once we get the chance to talk to Haggard.  Given how quickly the theft happened, there’s a pretty good chance that some other people were involved in the theft too.
Police are asking that if anyone knows where Haggar is, call trhem at 903-798-3116 or Texarkana Area Crime Stoppers at 903-793-STOP.
