LONGVIEW, Texas – Pleasant Grove appeared en route to its third win in the Spring Hill baseball tournament Saturday when Carthage played opportunistic ball in the bottom of the sixth.

Trailing 3-0, the Bulldogs turned two walks, an infield error, a fielder’s choice and an outfield error into four runs for a 4-3 victory over the Hawks.

The Hawks captured a 2-0 advantage in the first inning with two outs. Marshall Cox singled to left, and Tucker Anderson walked. Murphy plated both runners with a double to right field. Brock Bearden’s line drive up the middle was caught by the pitcher.
