Miller County EMC also reminds residents to keep hands clean with soap and water, use hand sanitizer with at least 60% alcohol, and avoid touching one’s face, particularly eyes, nose, and mouth.
Residents should also adhere to social distancing, avoiding close contact, and maintaining a six-foot distance between individuals. Also residents should avoid social gatherings of 10 or more people.
The citywide curfew is still in effect for Texarkana from 10:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m. nightly. Residents should reduce travel to essential travel only, such as gas and grocery stores, medical appointments and emergencies, work, and family care.
