
TEXARKANA — Texas High School’s TigerVision has earned an honor in student filmmaking.
According to a release sent from Texarkana ISD on Friday, TigerVision is one of 10 broadcast journalism programs in the nation that earned such a distinction.
Texas High was honored for Best Art Direction/Set Design from their short film entitled “Gifted,” which is about the adventures of a stuffed bunny. Tylicia Crutchfield, Amaya Green, Raelyn Ligon, Colton Minter, Jenna Woodard, and Kate Woodard created and wrote the plot for the short film.
Films were written, shot, and produced from July 1 to Dec. 18 of 2019, and were eligible for the award. The categories included Animated, Art Direction/Set Design, Cinematography, Directing, Documentary, Editing, Live Action, Sound Design — Original Score and Music, Visual Effects and Writing.
