TEXARKANA — The Texarkana Arkansas Police Department (TAPD) is investigating a domestic fatal shooting that occurred on Monday evening at approximately 8:30 p.m. that involved a man, his estranged wife, and another man.

Texarkana Arkansas police responded to a call of a shooting in the 600 block of Price Lane at the Park Ridge Apartments. Police say they discovered 40-year-old Courtland Luckey inside the apartment and injured from multiple gunshot wounds, from which he later died on the scene after officers provided first aid.

According to police, Luckey parked his vehicle away from the apartment complex and walked up to the apartment, forcing his way inside and began physically assaulting Tynisha Luckey, his estranged wife, and a 48-year-old male, whose name the police did not provide, who later was transported to Wadley for severe injuries.

Police say Tynisha obtained a firearm and shot Courtland multiple times. There were also two children inside the residence at the time of the altercation, and they were uninjured, according to police.

No charges have been filed at this time. Once the investigation by TAPD is complete, they will present a case file to the prosecuting attorney’s office to determine if any charges will be filed.
