LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (AP) — Officials say Arkansas coronavirus cases rose by 226 and one new death has been reported. Gov. Asa Hutchinson says the total number of people who have tested positive for the virus rose to 8,651 on Friday. That’s up from 8,425 on Thursday. A total of 152 people have died so far this year in Arkansas from the illness. Also Friday, the state revealed results of contact tracing conducted on 190 coronavirus cases reported on June 1. Of those cases, 39 involved someone who was employed by a poultry business.
