LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (AP) — Ten more people in Arkansas have died from the illness caused by the coronavirus, bring the death toll for the Arkansas outbreak to 237. The Department of Health on Tuesday reported at least 16,678 people have tested positive for coronavirus, an increase of 595 over the previous day. The department said 5,221 of those cases are active, not including patients who have died or recovered. Tuesday marks the second time in less than a week the state has recorded double-digit deaths in a day. Virus activity is steadily increasing since the state began allowing businesses to reopen last month.
