
TEXARKANA — The Texarkana Arkansas Police Department deployed their SWAT team to apprehend a suspect with multiple felony warrants out of Arkansas and Texas.
Police say that the Arkansas Probation and Parole requested assistance in the arrest of 31-year-old Michael Wilkerson, who was hiding in a bedroom in a residence in the 200 block of Jackson Street.
According to police, Wilkerson failed to comply with orders to surrender, and SWAT deployed a shot from a JPX less lethal pepper gun. Police say that Wilkerson was taken into custody.

Wilkerson was decontaminated immediately upon his arrival to the Bi-State Jail, according to police. Police say that Wilkerson sustained no injuries.
