Police arrest road rage suspect on Cooper Lane

TEXARKANA — The Texarkana Texas Police Department arrested a road rage suspect on Cooper Lane Thursday evening who fired a warning shot because a car was following too closely.

Police say that Bradley Riddle fired a warning shot into the air after a driver reportedly was following too closely to his vehicle on Kings Highway at around 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Police were able to catch up to Riddle on Cooper Lane. According to police, Riddle was upset from his dog just dying and he also said he had been drinking.

Riddle was charged with unlawfully carrying a weapon, deadly conduct, and a DWI in the second degree. Riddle was arrested without incident, his bond is $45,000, and he is still being held in the Bi-State Jail.
