177 active COVID-19 cases being traced in Bowie County

TEXAKANA — The Bowie County emergency operations center reports there are 177 active COVID-19 cases being traced in the county.

The Bowie County-Texarkana Texas joint operations center is still conducting such tracing. Anyone who has tested positive for COVID-19, or any healthcare providers who conducts such testing, should notify the local health authority at 903-255-5560.

In Bowie County, there are 391 positive cases with 186 recoveries and 28 deaths.

In nearby Cass County, there are a total of 62 cases with 35 recoveries an two deaths. The county has 25 active cases.
