Arkansas passes 30K virus cases, four more die from COVID-19

LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (AP) — Arkansas has exceeded 30,000 confirmed coronavirus cases and four more people in the state have died from the illness caused by the virus. The state Health Department on Wednesday said 30,297 people have test positive for the virus, an increase of 564 confirmed cases since Tuesday. The Health Department said 6,439 of those cases are active, meaning they don’t include people who have died or recovered. The state’s total fatalities from COVID-19, the illness caused by the virus, has risen to 335 and the number of people hospitalized rose by 13 to 458.
