
LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (AP) — Arkansas has reported 787 new confirmed cases of the coronavirus, and 11 more people have died from the illness caused by the virus. The Department of Health on Monday said at least 44,597 people in the state have tested positive for the virus. The state said 6,882 of those cases are active, meaning they don’t include people who have died or recovered. The number of people who have died from COVID-19 rose to 475 and the number of people hospitalized declined by two to 513.
