LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (AP) — Arkansas health officials are reporting one less death due to COVID-19, the illness caused by the coronavirus. The state Department of Health on Sunday said one previously reported death was determined to be a false positive and has been removed from the total count and with no additional deaths, the number stands at 599. The department reported 52,665 confirmed cases, an increase of 673 from Saturday. The true number of cases in Arkansas is likely higher because many people have not been tested, and studies suggest people can be infected and not feel sick.
