The Texas Department of Public Safety announced the capture of a member of the Aryan Brotherhood of Texas gang in North Little Rock, Arkansas.

50-year-old Patrick Neal Nerren, who was on Texas’ top-10 most wanted fugitive list, was arrested on Aug. 13 on parole violations, multiple felonies, which included unlawful possession of a firearm by a felon, evading arrest/detention with a vehicle, and possession of a controlled substance. Nerren had been wanted since October 2019 when he left his last known address in Point Blank, Texas.

Texas DPS worked with members of the U.S. Marshals Eastern Arkansas Fugitive Task Force, in coordination with the U.S. Marshals Gulf Coast Violent Offenders Fugitive Task Force and arrested Nerren at his North Little Rock residence.

Nerren was arrested thanks to a Crime Stoppers tip, and the anonymous tipster will receive a $7,500 award. In 2020 alone, DPS and other agencies have arrested eight of the state’s top-10 most wanted fugitives and sex offenders, including seven gang members. There have been $20,000 in rewards that have been paid out for tips that have led to arrests.

Eligibility for rewards stipulates the following:

  • Call the Crime Stoppers hotline at 1-800-252-TIPS (8477).
  • Submit a web tip through the DPS website by selecting the fugitive you have information about and then clicking on the link under their picture.
  • Submit a Facebook tip by clicking the “SUBMIT A TIP” link (under the “About” section).

DPS says all tips are anonymous, regardless of means of submission, and tipsters will be provided tip numbers instead of using their real names.
