Active cases increase by 5 in Bowie County

TEXAKANA — The Bowie County emergency operations center reported five new cases of COVID-19 on Thursday.

The emergency operations center says there are 395 active cases in the county, and all of them are being traced.

Anyone who has tested positive for COVID-19 or any healthcare provider that conducts such testing should notify the Bowie-Texarkana Health Department at 903-255-5560.

Since the pandemic began, there have been 861 cases with 410 recoveries and 56 deaths. Here is a breakdown of every case of COVID-19 since March:
