LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (AP) — Arkansas has reported 549 new cases of the coronavirus and 10 more deaths from the illness caused by the virus. The Department of Health on Thursday reported at least 54,765 people have tested positive for the virus. The number of people who have died from COVID-19, the illness caused by the virus, rose to 641 and the number of people hospitalized remained unchanged since Wednesday at 499. Three of the new deaths occurred in July and were late reports, the department said.
