The start of the 2020 Paul Pewitt high school football season is full of questions and uncertainty but one that remains the same is the ground and pound rushing attack of the Bulls.

Pewitt hosted Commerce Thursday night for a controlled scrimmage and one live quarter of football. Pewitt opened on offense for the first 15 plays and scored once on a 45-yard Deiontary Hill run. Commerce also scored once on a long touchdown pass.

The live quarter started with the Bulls going 80 yards to take a 6-0 lead. The defense forced a Tigers punt and the Bulls once again drove down the field and punched it in 2 point conversion made the score 14-0. Commerce would score on their next drive to make 14-7 Bulls. Pewitt scored one more time to make the final 20-7 Bulls.

Pewitt will open next week against the Red Raiders from Winnsboro next Friday at Sam Parker field in Mount Pleasant.
