Bowie County reports 1K COVID-19 cases

TEXARKANA — The Bowie County emergency operations center reports the county has crossed the 1,000 case mark for COVID-19.

Since the pandemic began, there have been 1,000 positive cases with 491 recoveries and 71 deaths. As of Wednesday, there are 438 active cases being traced in the county.

Anyone who has tested positive for the coronavirus or conducts such testing should notify the Bowie-Texarkana Health Department at 903-255-5560.
