The Arkansas State Police is investigating what they are calling “an apparent homicide” of a Lewisville woman on Sept. 11.

According to police, 45-year-old Kira Bradley was found dead inside the residence at 915 West 3rd Street. The body was found inside a bedroom shortly after noon.

Lewisville Police contacted Arkansas State Police shortly thereafter. Two suspects have been taken into custody by special agents of the state police’s criminal investigation division: an El Dorado man and a Lewisville woman.

Cause and manner of death will be determined following an autopsy at the Arkansas State Crime Laboratory, where Bradley’s body will be transported.

Special agents are preparing an investigative file that will be turned over to the Lafayette County prosecuting attorney, who will determine whether or not criminal chargers will be filed against the suspects.
