Bowie County reports 74 new cases

TEXARKANA — The Bowie County emergency operations center reports 74 new cases of COVID-19 since Sept. 21.

Since the pandemic began, there have been a total of 1,250 positive cases of coronavirus. There are currently 496 active cases being traced.

Anyone who has coronavirus or any healthcare provider that conducts such testing should notify the Bowie-Texarkana Health Department at 903-255-5560.

Since March, there have been 683 recoveries and 71 deaths. Here is a breakdown of every coronavirus case in the county since the pandemic began:

In nearby Cass County there have been 338 cases since the pandemic began with 26 new cases since Monday. There have been 274 recoveries and 15 deaths. There are currently 49 active cases in the county.
